WI vs IND, 2nd Test, Day 4 Live Updates: Rohit Sharma raced to his half-century in 35 balls with some terrific batting in display while Yashasvi Jaiswal is also firing in all cylinders as India cruise against West Indies in the second Test on Sunday. The pair scored 50 runs for India in only 5.3 overs. Earlier, Mohammed Siraj registered a five-wicket haul as India bundled out West Indies for 255 runs, taking a first innings lead of 183. The hosts, who resumed play at 229 for 5 on Day 4, lost the remaining five wickets in no time. India had posted 438 in first innings with the help of Virat Kohli’s 121. (Live Scorecard)

A poor short ball from Shannon Gabriel and Rohit Sharma hit it away for a fout to race to his half-century. He gets there in only 35 balls. This is some batting from the Indian skipper. Coming back to the ball, it was pitched short down the leg side by Gabriel and Rohit rightly punished it for a four towards the fine leg fence.

India took the new ball after a lot of delay on Day 3. They picked the red cherry after 102.5 overs. The guests then bowled 5.1 overs with the new ball before umpires called for Stumps due to the fading light. While they were unlucky enough to not get any wicket with the new ball on Day 3, today will be a good opportunity for the Indian bowlers to put pressure on West Indies as the ball is still new. A lot will depend on how India bowl today.
