Visuals show a section in the check-in area in flames, with airport authorities evacuating people.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Firefighting operations to douse the flames were on, as seen in the visuals from the airport. Reddish flames and plumes of smoke was seen erupting from the portal.<\/p>\n<p>At least three fire engines rushed to the spot, and the situation is under control, officials said.\u00a0A short circuit could be the reason for the fire, the official added.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Since there was a rush of passengers, airport authorities took no chance and used their firefighters to douse the fire.
