The incident happened last year in September,\u00a0near the RAF Mildenhall air base in Suffolk, on the A1101 in Beck Row.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to a <em><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/av\/uk-england-suffolk-65815028\">BBC<\/a><\/u><\/em> report, the 19-year-old tractor driver was found to be over the legal driving limit for cocaine. In a court hearing regarding the case on June 6, he was given an eight-week suspended prison sentence and 60 hours of unpaid work at Carlisle Magistrates&#8217; Court.<\/p>\n<p>A video of the incident which surfaced online shows\u00a0Tyler Sowerby&#8217;s tractor smashing into a Honda in a head-on collision\u00a0running over the car and devastating it completely beneath its huge tyres. Airbase officials said the driver sustained no major injuries.<\/p>\n<p>In court on Monday, the 19-year-old admitted to careless driving and driving under the influence of drugs. Defense solicitor Duncan Campbell said Mr. Sowerby had &#8220;lost control&#8221; of the tractor.<\/p>\n<p>Images\u00a0showing extensive damage to the Honda were also shown in court.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221;Thank goodness nobody was injured. I think this young man was taken to hospital, that was precautionary. The Honda driver was uninjured.
