Both pilots on board the aircraft ejected safely before the crash, it said.<\/p>\n<p>The aircraft was on a routine sortie and crashed in an open field in a village near Chamrajnagar district, about 136 km from Bengaluru, according to the Air Force.<\/p>\n<p>Both the pilots sustained minor injuries, news agency PTI reported quoting district officials. No casualties were reported.<\/p>\n<p>A board of inquiry (BoI) has been ordered to investigate the cause of the crash.<\/p>\n<p>“Kiran trainer aircraft of the IAF crashed near Chamrajnagar, Karnataka today, \u00a0while on a routine training sortie. Both aircrew ejected safely.
